T'ai Chi as a meditative art, like any other activity,
depends upon the quality of one's attention. Some teachers take
care to set an environment in which meditation can take place.
There is nothing you can do to make meditation happen - just practice
the T'ai Chi movements whilst paying attention, and meditation
will come of itself. If you are interested in a formal sitting
meditative practice, it is helpful to have a meditator friend
to meet with regularly. e-mail us and we can try to put you in
